Abstract: |
The watching brief recorded a sequence of post-medieval archaeological deposits and features that included several construction cuts for late 19th century services. The earliest deposits were loose gravels underneath a layer of garden soil, from which no dating evidence was recovered. The earliest deposits of made ground contained rubble and mortar fragments which were examined and attributed a date range from the late 17th to 19th centuries. [Au] |
