Abstract: |
The visible areas of stripped ground revealed phases of development related to the 19th and 20th centuries while the major foundations and some of the service trenches demonstrated the existence of early post-medieval ditches and pits/wells. The assemblage of archaeological artefacts recovered from the site included diagnostic examples of brick dating between 17th and 20th centuries and tile fragments which dated between 12th and the 18th centuries.
