Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of the proposed development of the site. The evaluation comprised seven trenches, which revealed a sequence of natural sands and gravels overlain by medieval and post-medieval garden soils. Post-medieval structural remains, dating from the 19th century, were recorded in Trench 3 in the south-east corner of the site. [Au(abr)] |
