Abstract: |
Two trenches were excavated, identifying four periods of construction. A grave was investigated which provided evidence for being dug through the fill of earlier graves. No trace was found of the undisturbed geological sequence. It seemed clear that the church had been used for burial over a long period of time and was consequently very full. [Au(adp)] |
