Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out in advance of the construction of a nursery school, on a site located within an Archaeology Priority area. Sample trenches revealed truncated natural sands and gravels, cut into the natural was a large cut feature thought to be an eighteenth century quarry pit, again probably truncated. These were sealed by Victorian foundations and modern make-up. [Au(adp)] |
