Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was undertaken of a site proposed for a health and fitness centre. The study showed that the site was situated in an area which had only been developed since the 1930s. It was considered that the development would have minimal negative impact, and that much of the development site had already been heavily disturbed by the construction of the girls' school on the site just prior to the Second World War.
