Abstract: |
An evaluation comprising the excavation of four trenches to investigate a number of possible archaeological features identified during geophysical survey was undertaken on land proposed for tree planting. Although cropmarks and earthworks were known on adjacent land the geophysical anomalies were found to represent either recent land drains or were attributable to variations in the naural gravels and sands.[AIP] |
