Abstract: |
Prior to the plantation of conifers, the area set aside was fieldwalked. The majority of the finds recovered were pottery sherds dating to the medieval period. These finds tended to cluster towards the site of the farm and a known moat. Flint flakes and early medieval pottery were also recovered although in much reduced quantities. [AIP] |
