Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring of the excavation of trial pits at The Sugar House, Lewins Mead, Bristol revealed that a series of four pillars supporting the roof of the warehouse on the site had been built onto the remains of an earlier wall. It was considered likely that the bases of the pillars had seriously compromised the survival of the wall, which could not be dated. [Au(adp)] |
