Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of a new lift shaft. No cut features were identified but made ground containing brick, animal bone and oyster shell may have represented finds within the backfill of the town ditch. A collection of animal bone was also recovered from a test pit dug through the floor of the museum building. [Au(adp)] |
