Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, consisting of the excavation of two trial trenches, was undertaken in advance of the proposed construction of a two storey extension at Atwood Primary School. The evaluation revealed no significant archaeological remains. The report concluded that any archaeologiocal features and finds that may have been present would have been removed around 1960, during terracing work for the construction of the school. [Au(adp)] |
