Abstract: |
During the course of the evaluation, the geophysical survey and trial trenching established the presence of linear earthworks and probable post-medieval field boundaries. To the east of this boundary were several pits, some of which may have been undated quarries and others of natural origin. In Area B, the topographic survey established that the principle earthwork was also probably part of the post-medieavl field system.[Au(abr)] |
