Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken across 196m of foundation trenches excavated during the construction of an extension to the school. Monitoring of the site suggested that the majority of the area of the extension was not built on to or close to any significant man-made settlement. However, the presence of a possible ditch on the north east corner of the site indicated that there was some activity on the site that pre-dated the construction of the school. The report concluded that the site had a low potential for any kind of occupation history. [Au(adp)] |
