Abstract: |
The watching brief revealed relatively little of archaeological interest, with the lack of finds indicating that this site was not used for domestic settlement during the medieval period. However, two features were recorded close to the eastern end of the site. One of these features was a pit of unknown date while the other was a ditch on a north-south alignment, which may have marked the boundary line between properties fronting onto the nearby green. This latter feature was also undated as no finds were recovered from its fill. [Au] |
