Abstract: |
A geoarchaeological evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site. Two bore holes were drilled and samples were taken for palaeoenvironmental analysis. Peats and silty clays which indicated some archaeological potential were present. It was recommended that further study of these deposits should be carried out, and that a watching brief should be undertaken during deep building works. [AIP] |
