Abstract: |
The evaluation consisted of eleven trenches, width 1.20m, and varying in length from 20-5m. A number of post-medieval features were exposed including the remnants of a drainage system, stone built walls, a surface of probable 18-19th century in date and filled in pits/depressions. It is possible that the building and features date to the time of enclosure when the land was being improved for agricultural use, probably during the 18-19th century. [Au(adp)] |
