Abstract: |
An excavation was undertaken in advance of gravel extraction on a site within the extension of a quarry. Neolithic and Bronze Age pits clustered together with associated finds, denoting the earliest activity on the site. A penannular ring-ditch was constructed in the Bronze Age. Then in the Iron Age, came evidence of actual settlement on the site, hut-circles, both enclosed and unenclosed were excavated. [AIP] |
