Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the removal of topsoil in advance of the construction of a cycle path. The route passed close to a Bronze Age bowl barrow, one of three in the vicinity, all of which were SAMs. During the watching brief, a linear feature which appeared to have been in alignment with the northern edge of the nearest barrow was recorded. No artefacts were recovered. [AIP] |
