Abstract: |
A single, 7.15m by 2m, evaluation trench was excavated on the site of a proposed pond, south of the river Ver. The natural gravel was observed directly below the topsoil, at a depth of only 0.08-0.19m. No archaeological features or finds were identified. Additionally there was no evidence of a former pond or riverine deposits. [Au] |
