Abstract: |
The English Golf Union proposed to create a second golf course on the north side of Woodhall Spa, two areas were considered to be threatened. These areas were subsequently subject to a fieldwalking and magnetometer survey to assess the archaeological potential of the site. The fieldwalking yielded only fragments of modern field drain and tile. The magnetometer survey produced evidence for slight anomalies although these were not considered to be significant enough to warrant further investigations. [AIP] |
