Abstract: |
An assessment identified that the site lay in the environs of an ancient hedgerow as well as a prehistoric, Roman and Saxon settlement and a medieval manor site. There was no evidence to suggest that any of these sites continued into the study area, although it was thought possible. Construction of a football pitch at the site was thought to have extensively truncated remains. [Au(abr)] |
