Abstract:
An evaluation comprising the excavation of four trenches and the recording of walls stripped of render, believed to be remains of the Manor house, was undertaken on a site proposed for a residential development. No evidence of development of the site prior to the construction of the Manor House, probably in the late 17th century, was identified. [AIP]
