Abstract: |
Three walls were recorded that cables would have to pass through. Within the castle walls, no features of archaeological significance were found and the homogeneous natural of the deposits suggested that landscaping had taken place within the castle. Outside the walls a mid 18th to 19th century stone lined pit containing pottery, animal bone and abundant macrofossils was discovered. A stone culvert was also found. [Au(abr)] |
