Abstract: |
Several pits of Victorian or later date were uncovered, cut through an earlier plough soil and subsoil. Three features, a gully and two pits, were undated, buy the pale colour of their fills and the fact that they were overlain by the plough soils, suggest that they could be considerably earlier than the other features. The gully was aligned perpendicular to the Oliver road, suggesting that it may be associated with the pre-suburban development field system. [Au(abr)] |
