Abstract: |
A number of 18th or 19th century buildings lay within the bounds of the proposed development area, which showed evidence of medieval open-field agriculture in the form of its curved field boundaries. There was evidence from the surrounding area for archaeological activity during all periods, but especially during the Palaeolithic and medieval periods. [Au] |
