Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a side weir, a covered culvert and a residential and office development. Four trenches were excavated and three timber revetments, probably post-medieval, were discovered. A fragment of probably prehistoric worked flint was found. Three sherds of 18th century and later pottery were recovered. It was concluded that the necessity for further work would depend upon proposed construction methods. [AIP] |
