Abstract:
The report outlined the findings of an archaeological watching brief carried out on groundworks during the conversion of a derelict Grade II Listed Building into accommodation to the rear of The Pharmacy. A floor surface paved with limestone slabs was discovered beneath a modern concrete floor. It was fully recorded prior to it being removed. No further groundworks were monitored. [Au]
