Abstract: |
<summary>A magnetometer survey was undertaken on land proposed for coal mining. A number of crop mark sites had previously been recorded and Romano-British material recovered on surrounding land. Linear anomalies, running in two directions, were identified and interpreted as the traces of medieval ridge and furrow with some form of boundary separating the two different orientations. Other anomalies were identified, including a possible ditched trackway and a field drain of unknown date. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
