Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed floors and wall footings of post-medieval date. Below them in the sequence was a silt containing two sherds of pottery dating from the late 12th to early 14th century sealing a floor of rammed chalk construction, indicating that elements of a medieval structure survived on the site.
