Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the groundworks for the redevelopment of the site. No archaeological features were identified. The topsoil contained pottery and glass dating from mid to late-18th century or later, brick, coal and cinder fragments and occasional bone. One small, abraded sherd of coarse medieval pottery was recovered which may have derived from earlier cultivation of the site. [Au(adp)] |
