All the evaluation trenches revealed evidence for substantial landscaping. In the northernmost six trenches, this was composed of a sequence of topsoil, subsoil and natural, whilst in the ten southernmost trenches a sequence of topsoil, made ground and natural was encountered. [Au(adp)] |
