Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken during the removal of the floor surface of the Hospitium. This revealed that there had been a rebuild of the columns supporting the first floor on slightly different foundations. Earlier division of the building could also be identified, firstly by the foundations of a brick division wall and also by the presence of a cobbled surface in the south-eastern part, which probably served as a livestock building in the 18th or 19th century. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 1990.23 (YAT investigation identification no) |
