Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken in accordance with the terms of Scheduled Monument Consent granted for the installation of new security and irrigation systems at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre. Other than modern features and surfaces, no archaeological remains were identified that could be dated securely. Finds were also limited to modern building debris, other than a single sherd of possible 12th-13th century pottery and a small collection of burnt flint. [Au(abr)] |
