Abstract: |
The watching brief showed that the existing building had been constructed on shallow or no footings. This would indicate that any medieval deposits would survive quite well although none were encountered during the excavations. The only finds recovered were pottery dating to 17th / 18th century which occured in a single layer horizon. [Au (abr)] |
