Abstract: |
A watching brief was held in advance of building work which was to include the excavation of a shaft 1.50m deep for the base of a lift. Test hole digging and augering at the position of the lift base preceeded this. Nothing of archaeological interest was seen, it was concluded that any archaeology present had been destroyed by the construction of the church. [Au(adp)] |
