Abstract:		 No in situ archaeological remains were revealed during the watching brief which was undertaken within the historic core of the Abbotsbury medieval complex, but outside of the Scheduled Area. A small quantity of artefacts was recovered , including post-medieval peg tiles and pottery and a small assemblage of worked flint, including a Late Neolithic flake end scraper and a retouched flake of Portland chert.
