Abstract:
The findings of an earlier evaluation of the site prompted a substantial review of the carpark enhancement scheme in order to arrive at a design which reduced the impact on archaeological deposits. A watching brief held over the redesigned scheme confirmed that it had only minimal impact on the archaeological deposits known to exist at the site. Only made ground and previously recorded features were observed. [AIP]
