Abstract: |
A fieldwalking survey was conducted at Heath Farm as part of an archaeological evaluation on a proposed extension of Desford Brickworks. The field was walked at 20 metre intervals over two days and all finds were surveyed using an EDM. The finds consisted predominantly of post-medieval brick and pottery. Archaeological material of an earlier date was not recovered. This was not inconclusive proof of the absence of sub-surface archaeological remains. [Au] |
