Abstract: |
The stratigraphically earliest archaeological features identified by the watching brief comprised two possibly 18th century ditches, one field drain, and the other a probable field boundary ditch. However, neither feature yielded any dateable artefacts. The vast majority of the features and finds revealed by the watching brief related to the Board School, built in 1870 onward. [Au(abr)] |
