Abstract: |
Archaeological recording was undertaken during building and groundworks relating to the Listed Grade II 17th century or earlier farmhouse and two Listed Grade II cob buildings to the south-west. The main structural alteration seen in the east range was that the north wall had been rebuilt, probably at the same time that the farm buildings in the northern courtyard were built/rebuilt. Evidence was found in the ground floor eastern room of the south range, for a number of structural changes that may have dated to the early 19th century. [Au(adp)] |
