Abstract: |
The site of the archaeological watching brief lay within the medieval town of Prestbury and was adjacent to St Mary's Church. No definite features or artefacts of archaeological interest were observed during the excavation of the two trenches. However, the 'bank' alongside the southern edge of Mill Street on which the house, garden and the churchyard stands, may have been partially raised by human activity.[Au(abr)] |
