Abstract: |
Monitoring of this pipeline scheme examined the area of topsoil stripping as well as the laying of the pipe in a narrow trench. This recovered an undatable infilled ditch, an undatable earlier flint cobbled track surface, pottery sherds from a probable 13th/14th century jug, a stray find medieval rim sherd, and a scatter of 19th/20th century pottery sherds and brick and tile fragments.
