Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken on excavations carried out to determine the general ground conditions around the base of a soil water pipe and gully. The excavation was located to the east of the east wall of the south transept of St Mary's Abbey. Skeletal remains were encountered, which appeared to be in their original grave cut and not redeposited building backfill. [Au(abr)] |
