The watching brief was maintained during groundworks for the construction of new offices. The site had been the subject of earlier evaluation when a well-preserved Roman site was located in the southern half of the field. Observation of development in the north half of the field revealed only modern land drains and a scatter of medieval and post-medieval pottery in topsoil, but no earlier features or finds.
