Abstract:
A watching brief during groundworks for a housing development recorded several isolated features, mostly of possible periglacial or modern origin. Two features in the north-western corner of the site appeared to represent archaeological deposits, containing respectively a prehistoric flint flake and Romano-British pottery and ceramic building material.
