Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a housing development. Prehistoric artefacts found in the area included neolithic pottery and flints, whilst deposits of alluvium were present which had potential for later prehistoric remains. During the evaluation, a pit-like feature containing fire-cracked flints was found. Made ground deposits, probably of 19th century date, were noted. [AIP] |
