Abstract: |
An earlier survey had identified a series of pits and earthern banks in the area to be traversed by the pipeline. These features were interpreted as mining pits and associated spoil heaps relating to probable post-medieval ironworking. No artefacts of archaeological significance were observed. [Au(abr)] |
