Abstract: |
Excavation revealed evidence for a Late Bronze Age droveway bounded by a series of inter-cutting ditches and hedges. A number of pits contained by ditches were filled with a range of finds and organic remains, possibly related to feasting. An undated roundhouse was recorded. A number of pit features, tree throws and subsoil deposits contained Late Bronze Age pottery. Later features include a Romano-British pit was well as Saxon pit, post holes and a ditch. [Au(abr)] |
