Abstract:		 A watching brief was carried out during geotechnical investigation at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, located just to the north-west of Wimbledon Village and close to Wimbledon Common, two areas of high archaeological potential. No significant archaeological features were noted, the site remained pasture land until the 20th century. Two flints were recovered out of context. [Au(adp)]
