Abstract: |
A recording project was undertaken on two small Listed Grade II bridges in the South Hams area which had been seriously damaged during the storms in December 1999. From parts of the bridge seen, Burberry water bridge appeared to have been built in one phase, and no evidence of any earlier structural phases, or episodes of rebuilding were found. With regard to the bridge over The Gara, no evidence was seen of any earlier structural phases, or episodes of rebuilding, believed to have taken place on this site.[Au] |
